Dissolution of
Albrighton and District Civic Society
We regret to announce that the Albrighton and District Civic Society will be formally dissolved on March 31, 2025. This decision was made following a vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 4, 2024, and subsequently confirmed at a Special General Meeting on November 19, 2024. Following the society's AGM, the committee agreed to give the remaining funds and assets to the Albrighton Historical Society.
The Albrighton and District Civic Society wishes to thank the community for its support over the years. If interested parties are willing to resurrect the Society, they should email via the contact page on the Albrighton Civic Society website.

Who we are
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2009, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Albrighton & District Civic Society.
The Civic Society district encompasses the four parishes of Albrighton, Boningale, Donington-with-Boscobel and Tong.
