About Albrighton & District Civic Society

Turning Interest into Action

Here at Albrighton & District Civic Society, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2009, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our society upon:

To preserve, develop and improve the amenities, environment and other features of the area which combine to make pleasing conditions in which to live and work

To stimulate public interest in the care for the character, beauty and history of the area and to encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in the area.

Albrighton & District Civic Society emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire to improve the appearance of our villages and the quality of life within them.

It is strongly believed by the founding members of the Albrighton and District Civic Society, that if residents give their support to the objectives set out above, the Society will make a very positive impact on the environment in which we live.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring

different perspectives and are willing to take risks.
